| Soft muted colours. Majestic, mysterious. Rising up wing-like from the forest floor. I attempted to capture the spirit and atmosphere of trees penetrated by shafts of light, through which one could imagine sky, hills, grasses, flowers, shady secretive places still waiting to be discovered under the brooding branches and foliage of the forest. The physical light is a metaphor for spiritual light. |
